On Saturday I read a whole book in one day. That hasn’t happened in a really long time! It was raining and it seemed like the perfect thing to do. Sometimes our bodies just need time to rest and recuperate from everyday living.
Normally my reading is confined to waiting rooms and the 30 minutes before bedtime and that just isn’t enough to satisfy my desire for reading!
My daughter is headed to college two hours away and all I can think about is
"Did I prepare adequately her for this?"
Sadly the answer is "probably not."
So in July I will be doing a 10 days series about REAL LIFE lessons NOT taught in school.
I am SO excited that Trim Healthy Mama is running a sale.
I can’t stand that we are almost to the 4th of July! Seriously the time is flying by as it usually does.
I don’t know why I’m surprised each year at how quick these fun summer months go by.
We are in the middle of revamping our deck. It is going to be amazing and I can’t wait to share it with you all.
A while ago a follower on the Day to Day Adventures Facebook page asked if I had a sugar free BBQ sauce that I used. Sadly I had to tell her no. So I went to work converting that old recipe to work for our new way of low glycemic eating.
We used to eat a wonderful recipe that was part of my freezer cooking list. Sadly it had more sugar in it than I like to feed my peeps now!
