Every year I have a goal to make as many homemade Christmas gifts as possible. I confess that in the past few years I’ve not make ANYthing! Great plans but no results.
THIS is the year I am going to learn to knit. I’ve wanted to learn for a long time but I’m sooooo excited to make this one of my winter projects. MANY of my ongoing projects are huge and take a lot of time to finish! Rag rugs, cross stitch, quilts and scrapbooking are just a few I am working on a little at a time.
Four weeks a go my second daughter moved 2 hours away to go to college. We are missing her and she is missing us too (I think) so I decided to make some care packages for her. These cute clothespin candy butterflies are going in the first box along with a few other fun items. I had so much fun making them!
I really shocked at how crazy our life has been for the last month. It feels a lot like a runaway freight train. It just keeps picking up speed. I often I wish for the times when we’d eat supper together as a family and then play a game after the clean up was done. Then the kids would head to bed before 9 and I’d be snoozing by 10. I'm finding that having family time with teens and college kids is super challenging and looks nothing it did when the kids were little!
Welcome to Pam Larmore with P.S. I Love You Crafts. I've invited her to share her love for making handmade cards. It's so nice to give and receive handmade cards. I hope you enjoy these easy handmade Christmas cards and the simple instructions on how to make your own!
Need a comfort food meal in about 20 minutes? We threw Cheesy Chicken and Cabbage skillet together last night before heading out the door for a meeting. YUMMY!
