The days are turning more sunny than cloudy here in mid-Missouri and I couldn’t be more happy! Today I’m sharing a simple spring flower wreath to make as you wait for your flowers to bloom!
I have a love affair with sunshine. Spring and summer are my favorites! No more cold feet and freezing when I go outside! But the best of all is the color of spring and all the flowers that are popping up in my flower gardens! So far there is only crocus and daffodils so while I wait for the real thing I’m getting out my spring decor to enjoy! I don’t have anything springish for my door so I’m trying a couple of styles to decide what I like!

Hot glue gun WITH fingertip protectors!
Instructions to make the Lamb’s Ear spring wreath
When I laid my lamb’s ear out on my grapevine wreath I wasn’t happy with the dark colors. So what’s a girl to do? Grab the white spray paint that’s what!
Give your wreath a couple of light coats and let it completely dry. The white looks so much brighter to me! I didn’t bother with painting both sides of the wreath as you will see in the video below but you certainly can paint both sides.
Lay the swag on the wreath to determine the length that you need and cut the appropriate amount.
Use zip ties to attach the swag. Then trim the extra “tail” off the zip ties.
Tuck your silk flowers in at random and use hot glue or wire to secure them to the wreath.
